Team Play

Team play will begin on the following dates:   9/15, 9/22, 10/6, 10/13, 10/27, 11/3 and Finals 11/10.  The team club fee is $20, payable by March 1.

Player Eligibility

A player must be a member of the club for which she plays by February 28 and a member of LACWGA by April 1.

Team Rules

1.  A team consists of eight (8) members with a maximum of 20 players on the roster.

2.  A club may field an “A” and/or “B” team.

3.  No team will be penalized and/or disqualified for reporting to a match in which they field less than a full complement of eight (8) players. The Team Captain shall determine which team member will play short, maintaining the proper handicap order.

4.  A team that cancels after the team schedule has been completed will not be eligible to field a team the following year, except by approval of the LACWGA Board.

5.  Team Play counts toward eligibility for LACWGA Major Tournaments.

6.  No team may have sponsorship for equipment or fees. See USGA Rules on amateur status.

7.  Team Play participants must play to a maximum handicap of 36.
